Andrew Jaffe is a veteran of over 40 years as an industrial, investment, and commercial real estate specialist. His background includes working with Fortune 500 Companies as well as other large firms, such as Suntech Power Holdings, United Rental, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Postal Service, the State of Illinois, Sonic Wall, Kindred Health Care and Apria Health Care. Additionally, he has serviced many mid-sized firms and entrepreneurs.
Throughout his career, Andrew has completed over 2,400 transactions in all areas of real estate. To date, the combined total value of his transactions, together with the acquisition and disposition of investment properties for Sun West Life Assurance Company of Canada, Allstate Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance Company and Chase Bank, exceeds $1 billion encompassing over 1,000,000 square feet of property.
Andrew was an active member in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) for ±18 years. Additionally, he and Commercial Properties Inc., are involved in CORFAC International. CORFAC is a worldwide real estate brokerage network, in which Andrew has taken a leadership role serving as a Board Member and was a member of the Executive Committee.
In 2018 Mr. Jaffe served as the CORFAC International President after serving as a member and supporting several other committees of the organization.
He has received a number of national and international awards, among them, CORFAC’s highest, “The Olen Monsees Award” for his years of continuous service and involvement. Jaffe was also awarded for “Biggest R&D Deal in 2010”, “Largest Office Deal, 2008”, “Highest Number of Transactions” for two consecutive years and “Largest Retail Deal, 2005 and 2016,” and other large deals with National Indoor RV Centers.
Andrew was also selected by the Real Estate Commissioner to serve on the Educational Advisory Board for a third straight term. Past accomplishments include service as President, along with several other executive-level Board positions, for the Association in Industrial Real Estate Brokers. He has also sat on the board of the local SIOR chapter. Andrew continues to serve as an expert witness in litigation cases.

Lisa Hamilton came to CPI from EBS and Associates in 2009 and brings with her over 19 years of commercial real estate experience. Lisa works closely with Management, Agents and Clients alike to ensure that the Scottsdale branch of CPI runs smoothly and efficiently. As Office Administrator, Lisa is not only tasked with the day to day operations of the Scottsdale office, but she also works closely with the Tempe office to ensure accurate information and documentation is communicated between to the two. Lisa’s attention to detail and her commitment to excellence have proven to be a valuable asset to CPI and our clients alike.

Lori Christ joined the CPI Property Management team in 2021 and has quickly become a valued team member. She began her real estate career in 1987. Most notably, she worked for over 20 years with a local management company where she handled all of the property accounting along with numerous management duties. Ms. Christ also spent over 7 years performing on-site management for a Class A, full-service service office building in North Scottsdale where she was involved in the day-to-day operations, easing, property management, accounting, and technology for the tenants.

Meagan Sohl has been working in commercial real estate since 2012. Starting at RED Development and working her way up from property accounting assistant to corporate accounting coordinator in a few short years while obtaining a Bachelor’s in Accounting. While at RED Development, Meagan managed 300 + users in the AP automated program, created the company’s standard operating procedures for this program and handled all intercompany billing. From RED Development, she went to a smaller locally owned commercial real estate company where she worked as a Senior Accountant and regained her love for property management accounting again which enabled her to gain the property management experience that led her to join CPI.
Meagan is an Arizona native but lived in Northeast Texas for 6 years as a preteen/teenager. She spends her free time with her two children, dog and 2 ferrets. Ron has lived in Arizona since 1959 and has over 34 years’ experience in the Phoenix Metropolitan Commercial Real Estate Market. During that period he was a Principal, Commercial Agent and Designated Broker, with both NAI Horizon and EBS & Associates. He has completed more than 2,700 lease and sale transactions within the property types of medical, general office, industrial, flex, and retail within multi-tenant or user/occupant properties. However, he specializes in the purchase and sale of multi-tenant and single tenant office, office medical, retail, flex and industrial income producing properties.
He has an in depth knowledge of all aspects of a commercial real estate transaction. His clients have benefited from his experience in negotiating leases, handling the tenant improvement process and all aspects of the acquisition/ disposition process from either the buyer or sellers’ perspective. Once a property has been identified he will be involved in the entire process from letter of intent through close of escrow including the following major milestones:
- Assisting Buyer/Seller with recommendations, as requested, of title companies, attorneys, financing options, review of property details such as land size, parking, zoning, RSF review, third party reports, contractors etc., those services or individuals associated with aspects of the physical property and/or the Purchase & Sale Contract process.
- Due diligence review of property i.e., income, expenses and verification, analysis of existing or new debt, projected NOI, cash on cash and I.R.R. estimates, review of forecasted tenant improvements, lease commissions and capital expenditure estimates for the property etc. This detailed analysis is performed to find potential financial or material discrepancies whether he is representing the seller, buyer or both. The financial analysis is completed by reading each lease and providing the seller, buyer or both, a lease abstract spreadsheet for individual tenant details and then importing the financial information into an Argus financial program to allow for review, verification and forecasting of estimated financial returns.
His thought process is the better the due diligence, the better the increased probability of success in the projected financial returns of the individual property. The bottom line is every acquisition/disposition has risk, but it should be managed risk through extensive due diligence verification, in conjunction with ultimately the greatest commercial real estate tool of them all "common sense."

Joining CPI in 2010, Theresa Warber adds a wide range of experience to the Sales and Support Team, having worked for a lending institution, an architect/developer/contractor and a real estate investment firm. Her diversified background brings added versatility to Commercial Properties.
Theresa has lived in the valley for over 26 years. While she loves the outdoors, she prefers to experience it from 10,000 feet in her Piper Archer aircraft. She and her husband also enjoy riding motorcycles, skiing, traveling and playing with their grandchildren.

Thomas K. Semancik has been actively involved in the sale of commercial real estate in Arizona since May of 1993. Prior to that he sold and financed commercial real estate in Northern California for over 10 years.
Mr. Semancik’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in 1983 and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati in 1972.
Prior to commercial real estate brokerage Mr. Semancik was employed by, Levi Strauss & Co. in various financial and operational management positions in several locations over a period of 10 years. Trent Rustan has over 20 years of real estate industry experience specializing in the acquisition and sales of commercial property for real estate investment companies and developers. Trent is an expert in retail and office transactions and has successfully negotiated over $500 million of acquisition, disposition and leasing deals throughout Metropolitan Phoenix and the United States.
Trent is a recognized expert in the Maricopa submarket and represents many tenant, landowners, and other investors in that area. In addition, Trent is a member of the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Chairman of the Government Affairs subcommittee on Sustainable Growth and Development.
Trent received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona with majors in both Finance and Real Estate and was awarded an undergraduate research fellowship to study the impact of Resolution Trust Disposition policies on local real estate values. When he is not transacting real estate, Trent likes to fish and travel to exotic islands.

Troy joined Commercial Properties Inc. as a Marketing and Research Assistant in 2008. Since that time Troy has been a driving force in changing the look and feel of CPI’s marketing materials. Previously, Troy worked for 6 years in the Visual Communications department of an international point-of- sale corporation where he focused on graphic design and product launch marketing campaigns.
Troy’s ability to create eye-catching and unique property brochures, postcards and other deliverables has made him a valuable asset to CPI’s Marketing team. After studying at Aims Community College he attended Design Element courses with Rockhurst University, and is CPD certified in Adobe Advanced Photoshop.
Outside of these endeavors, he enjoys writing, painting, and collecting music.

During Tyson’s 25 year tenure at Commercial Properties Inc., he has repeatedly been recognized as a top producing broker in the Valley. He is the driving force behind a highly successful division of Commercial Properties Inc.
Tyson’s team consisting of Shane McCormick, Theresa Warber, Ryan Edwards and Gina Beccaria have helped Tyson stay focused on achieving success and staying motivated. He graduated from Arizona State University and began his commercial real estate career in marketing; a career choice that led him to then become a sales agent, broker and eventually President and Designated Broker of Commercial Properties Inc. His leadership has proven to be invaluable to Commercial Properties Inc., while his dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence continues to strengthen the company and most importantly, his clients.

Vernell has 25 years experience in the accounting field. Vernell joined Commercial Properties in 2007, as a Finance and Accounting Assistant after working with a local CPA firm for 15 years. She is very knowledgeable in tax laws, generally accepted accounting principles, and the use of QuickBooks. She enjoys the upbeat and energetic environment at CPI and looks forward to the challenges her position offers.
She is responsible for critical financial functions such as managing our commissions system, preparing corporate and partnership tax returns, reconciling bank accounts, helping our sales agents manage their business financial records, and working on other special projects related to the financial management of our company.
Vernell has resided in Arizona for over 33 years.
Vince Gilbert joined CPI’s Marketing and Research Team in 2022. His industry knowledge and CRE experience makes him a valuable and welcomed addition to our team.
In 2019, Mr. Gilbert earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Tourism from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, both Cum Laude. Vince started his career his senior year with a commercial land advisory firm as an intern and was quickly promoted to a staff position within the Marketing Dept.
With music being his personal passion, Vince also attended Central Arizona College where he earned 2 degrees in the Entertainment Industry Technology program, both in Recording Engineering and Artist/Venue Management. He has recorded and self-released multiple records, as well as performed in numerous bands and toured extensively throughout the United States.
An Arizona native, Vince is a proven and professional Marketing Professional and goes above and beyond to assist our Agents, teammates and support staff in their marketing needs.
